AUSTRALIA SEEK TO CAPTURE , WEST INDIES "CHAMPION TROPHY" TITLE
Aussies hopeful of breaking Champions Trophy drought!
Fast bowler Brett Lee says he is confident Australia can win the ICC Champions Trophy, which starts in India this month.
The world champions finalised their preparations for the tournament with a victory in the recent tri-series against the West Indies and India in Malaysia.
Lee said although the Australians were building towards the upcoming Ashes series, they were determined to claim the Champions Trophy for the first time.
"You just have to focus on the job at hand and the Champions Trophy is one trophy that we're yet to win," he said.
"We are very focused and that is our most important series coming up at this particular moment."
The Australian squad will fly out for India on Friday before their first match on October 18.
