Bovell(G) 7th in Pan Am 100 freestyle swim,Brown withdraws from Pan Am Games

George Bovell 111 finished 7th in the 100 metres

freestyle final at the Maria Lenk Aquatic Park in Rio

de Janeiro.

 

The 2004 Olympic 200 IM bronze medalist could not

replicate his semi final time of 49.51 seconds. Bovell

clocked 50.16 seconds in the final.

 

Meanwhile sprinter Darrel Brown, T&T's 100 meter gold

medal prospect has been forced out of the 2007 Pan

American games. Brown the reigning 100 metres national

senior champion has suffered an injury .
