Women’s Association hold meeting for upcoming season

The Trinidad and Tobago Women’s Football Association will be meeting on Saturday 19th May at the Board Room,Administrative Building at the Centre of Excellence to discuss the upcoming league for 2007.

 

Teams wishing to compete in this upcoming season can attend or call call 708-0047 or 743-1857 for further information.

 

The Women’s program is set to enter a new phase and the aim is to continue the development of the women’s game locally and follow up on the success attained in the Caribbean region. Several players have benefited and moved on to play with Colleges on scholarships and other clubs in the United States. The Women’s Senior team also recently returned home from Alabama where it faced the USA Under 21 team and the Chinese Women’s team in exhibition matches and despite losing both games were able to come away with invaluable experience. Marlon Charles is currently the coach of the T&T Women’s Senior Team.
